What we store

• Account: your email, an encrypted password (or an Apple/Google sign-in link), and your display name.
• Your spots & finds: locations, dates, species and notes you save. Spots are private to you and never shared unless you post them yourself.
• Photos you attach to spots or posts, stored on our servers.
• Community content you choose to publish (profile, posts, comments, messages).
• Device push token (if you enable notifications) and your notification preferences.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share your private spots. We don't use your location for advertising.

Location

Location is used only to save spots, show what grows near you, and pick your regional guide - on request, while you use the app.

Your rights

You can edit your profile, delete individual spots and posts, and delete your entire account and data at any time from the app (Profile → Account → Delete account) or via mushroomhunt.app/account/delete.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and processed entirely by Apple and Google. We receive only your entitlement status (whether a valid Pro subscription exists) - never your card details or payment information.
